Hi, I'm Eric Busch, co-founder of Datafeedr and a handful of other web projects.

I live in Owen Sound, Ontario with my wife and two dogs. When there's no white stuff on the ground, I can be found mountain biking local trails, canoeing and fishing local lakes, and rock climbing local crags. I also organize Ultimate Frisbee in Owen Sound.

I started my web development adventure in 2003 while teaching English in South Korea. As soon as I learned how to connect PHP to a MySQL database, I launched KoreaOnTheRocks.com, a site dedicated to rock climbing in South Korea.

In 2006 I started developing and selling turnkey WordPress websites. At that time, WordPress was version 2.0 and had just added a WYSIWYG editor!

Since then, I've launched over a dozen websites, some of which are no longer with us and those that are still around may be slightly neglected.

These days, I spend a lot of time making Laravel backends which act as headless CMS for Gatsby or Jigsaw frontends for projects mostly related to language learning.
